Head of Finance

About the role

The Head of Finance will oversee financial operations across the Kaiseraugst and Altendorf locations, ensuring transparency, standardized processes, and reliable reporting. This role involves leading the accounting and controlling departments while collaborating closely with local management and the Coesia headquarters. The position requires active participation in the development of the finance organization and involves regular travel between the two sites.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall financial reporting including actuals, forecasts, and budget planning.
• Lead and develop the accounting and controlling departments.
• Harmonize ERP system landscapes across both locations.
• Design, implement, and optimize financial processes and internal controls.
• Establish transparent reporting structures and relevant KPIs.
• Coordinate monthly and annual financial closings.
• Oversee cash flow reporting, liquidity monitoring, and financial planning.
• Collaborate with local management and the Coesia headquarters on financial and strategic matters.

Qualifications

• Professional experience as a Finance Manager, Head of Finance, or in a comparable leadership role
• Professional experience in Switzerland
