Senior Financial Analyst

About the role

The Senior Financial Analyst will partner with operating and finance colleagues to support high-quality software businesses owned by Banyan Software. This role involves managing financial operations, including revenue recognition, cash management, financial reporting, and analysis to drive shareholder value.

Responsibilities

• Prepare timely and accurate GAAP financial statements, board reporting, budgets, and KPIs of operating companies to drive growth and smart decision-making.
• Perform quality assurance on finance and accounting work products such as reviewing GL postings and monitoring revenue recognition.
• Contribute to the operational performance of operating companies through analysis of budget-to-actuals and benchmarking.
• Partner with M&A colleagues and support the operational and financial integration of acquisitions.
• Implement process improvement initiatives contemplated in M&A business cases.
• Develop ad hoc reports and dashboards to help CEOs with monitoring their businesses.
• Document Standard Operating Procedures to promote best practices and efficiency across the portfolio.
• Provide financial advice and guidance to the business as requested.

Qualifications
