About the role

The Product Manager for the Trust Platform will own the product direction for how IDnow supports European eID schemes and EUDI Wallets. This role involves defining strategy for digital identity methods, ensuring compliance with eIDAS 2.0 requirements, and acting as a key counterpart to the Trust Services team. It is a focused, technical position requiring deep engagement with regulatory specifications and cross-border identity interoperability.

Responsibilities

  • Define the digital identity strategy and portfolio of identification methods for EUDI Wallets and eIDs.
  • Act as the counterpart to the Trust Services team to ensure smooth integration of electronic signatures and QEAAs.
  • Monitor and implement eIDAS 2.0 and EUDI Wallet standards to ensure platform compliance.
  • Manage cross-border identity verification and navigate nuances of different EU member state requirements.
  • Analyze friction-versus-security trade-offs to provide recommendations for maximizing customer onboarding rates.
  • Own the end-to-end specification of eID and EUDI Wallet integrations, including protocols and data models.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Legal, Compliance, and Solutions teams to translate regulatory requirements into technical specifications.
