About the role
Smallpdf is seeking a Product Manager to lead the core tools team, focusing on optimizing the user experience for millions of monthly users. You will own the end-to-end product lifecycle for individual tools, working closely with growth, SEO, and engineering teams to drive acquisition and engagement. This role involves leveraging AI, data-driven experimentation, and user research to set strategy and deliver impactful product improvements.
Responsibilities
- Own the individual tools end to end: upload experience, processing, output quality, download
- Work with our SEO, SEM and growth teams on how people reach the tools, including positioning with marketing
- Help turn AI search and LLMs into a real acquisition channel
- Ship AI features where they help users, with a clear process for accuracy, cost and quality before launch
- Design, monitor and analyse experiments on millions of sessions, and ship, iterate or kill on the result
- Run deep analyses and user research yourself, and be the voice of the user in every decision
- Set the strategy and roadmap for your area from user feedback, data and business goals
- Align engineering, design, SEO, growth, marketing and other product teams on what ships and why
