Engineering Manager - Alma Wallet

About the role

The Engineering Manager for Alma Wallet will lead and grow the squad responsible for the payment experience within the Alma app. This role involves delivering the product roadmap, including the Alma card and various payment methods, while fostering a high-performing team environment. You will collaborate closely with Product and Design to ensure technical excellence and reliability across the consumer payment ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the Alma Wallet roadmap including the Alma card, new payment methods, identity verification, and Open Banking.
• Lead and grow the Alma Wallet squad by supporting engineer development and hiring.
• Build an effective delivery system by improving team processes, rituals, and cross-functional collaboration.
• Raise the technical bar and protect reliability through code reviews, technical design discussions, and a focus on payment flow quality.
