Agentic Platform Engineer

About the role

12Build is looking for a Senior Agentic Platform Engineer to build the infrastructure required for their AI and data teams to develop production-ready agents. You will own the core AI infrastructure, including evaluation harnesses, agent tracing, and model gateways, while leading the transformation of the DevOps environment into a modern SaaS landscape. This role combines high-level architectural work with hands-on DevOps responsibilities to support the company's technological growth.

Responsibilities

• Own the core AI infrastructure including evaluation harnesses, agent tracing, prompt and tool registries, and model call routing layers.
• Transform the DevOps environment into a modern SaaS landscape focusing on agent observability, model gateways, and agent-aware deployment patterns.
• Lead the modernization and maintenance of current pipelines and core DevOps tasks.
• Act as a tech lead for execution and communication, coordinating with senior developers to translate complex challenges into sprints.
• Manage ongoing DevOps tasks such as package updates, vulnerability remediation, and platform monitoring.
