Engineering Manager, AI CICD

About the role

Chainguard is seeking an engineering manager to lead a team focused on securing the software supply chain and building products at the intersection of security and AI. You will own products end-to-end, including the Guardener, hardened GitHub Actions, and Chainguard Agent Skills, while hiring and growing a team of engineers. This role requires a balance of technical leadership, product roadmap management, and hands-on contribution.

Responsibilities

• Own a portfolio of products end-to-end from roadmap through implementation, rollout, and iteration.
• Hire, lead, and grow a small team of strong engineers while removing blockers.
• Stay technically hands-on by reviewing designs and PRs and prototyping when necessary.
• Partner with Product to set roadmaps and prioritize tradeoffs for iterative shipping.
• Navigate ambiguous problems and take initiative to find clear paths forward.
• Own the quality and reliability of shipped products and incorporate customer feedback into the roadmap.
