Senior Gen AI Software Engineer

About the role

Liftoff is seeking a Senior Gen AI Software Engineer to design and build AI-powered products for its demand-side business. You will work across the stack to develop intelligent systems and data pipelines that help teams turn complex data into actionable decisions. This role involves partnering with product and engineering teams to move quickly from prototype to production while ensuring the reliability and quality of AI-driven features.

Responsibilities

• Own generative AI product capabilities end to end, from prototyping through implementation and ongoing improvement.
• Rapidly prototype and validate AI solutions to test user value and technical feasibility.
• Build agentic workflows that reason over campaign, customer, and performance data.
• Integrate AI agents into daily workflows by partnering with subject matter experts.
• Build production systems that ensure reliability, including tool use, state management, and failure recovery.
• Develop evaluation systems to measure AI feature performance using automated checks and human judgment.
• Build Python services and TypeScript/React interfaces to deliver cohesive products.
