DevOps Engineer

About the role

Peter Park is looking for a DevOps Engineer to own and scale their AWS and Kubernetes platform. You will automate infrastructure, design developer experiences, and implement AI-driven operational guardrails to support a growing network of parking spaces. The role focuses on building reliable, high-performance systems while championing modern engineering practices.

Responsibilities

• Shape the architecture of the cloud and microservice platform using AWS, Kubernetes, and Terraform.
• Build self-service developer tools and golden paths to streamline infrastructure and deployment processes.
• Automate DevOps workflows using AI agents and design safety guardrails.
• Evolve GitLab pipelines to ensure fast, continuous, and reliable deployments for backend and IoT services.
• Improve observability and monitoring using Datadog to proactively identify and resolve system issues.
• Scale infrastructure to support thousands of parking lots while maintaining performance and cost efficiency.
