Litigation Paralegal

About the role

The Litigation Paralegal will manage a large caseload and support the team in formal recovery actions, including liquidation, administration, bankruptcy, and county court procedures. This role involves drafting legal correspondence and security documents, negotiating settlements, and liaising with external firms to ensure efficient case management. The successful candidate will contribute to a high-performing team while leveraging AI tools to streamline daily tasks and improve productivity.

Responsibilities

• Drafting pre-action protocol correspondence and ensuring compliance with the protocol.
• Drafting documents to commence and conclude formal recovery action, including liquidation, administration, bankruptcy, or county court procedures.
• Drafting and negotiating security documents, such as charges, deeds of priority, and settlement agreements.
• Negotiating with regard to insolvency and litigation matters.
• Managing a large caseload and overseeing costs and recovery of costs.
• Assisting with administrative duties relating to case management.
• Liaising with external panel firms regarding issues and cases.
