Senior Counsel, Strategic Partnerships

About the role

This senior in-house legal role focuses on commercial legal programs, partner management, and technology deal negotiations. The successful candidate will serve as a dedicated legal partner for B2B Enterprise, Technology Alliances, and Channel and Distribution Partnerships, supporting the development of the indirect partner ecosystem. The role requires deep transactional expertise and strong business instincts to help scale the legal function.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate complex commercial agreements including GSI arrangements, channel partner and reseller agreements, technology alliance and co-sell agreements, and enterprise SaaS licensing.
• Advise senior business stakeholders on deal structuring, risk allocation, commercial terms, and multi-jurisdictional go-to-market considerations.
• Partner with the Product Legal team to develop legal frameworks for self-serve and low-touch commercial motions, including API access and usage-based licensing.
• Provide guidance on AI-related commercial arrangements, data-sharing agreements, and emerging technology implementations.
• Develop and maintain enterprise and channel contracting templates, playbooks, negotiation guidelines, and approval frameworks.
• Act as a primary legal partner for the commercialisation of GTM products, advising on route-to-market models and pricing frameworks.
• Negotiate agreements governing the embedding, bundling, or distribution of products within third-party platforms and ecosystems.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with 10+ years of post-qualification experience
