Senior Legal Counsel (Commercial & Litigation)

About the role

The Legal team provides regulatory advice and manages legal liabilities to support the company's products and services. This role focuses on commercial contracting for UK and cross-border matters, delivering pragmatic advice to enable growth while managing risk. The successful candidate will work cross-functionally to support institutional clients and global business lines.

Responsibilities

• Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of day to day commercial agreements for institutional clients, advertising and marketing agreements, partnership and collaboration agreements, letters of engagement, insurance policies, NDAs and other commercial instruments supporting UK, EMEA and worldwide operations
• Prepare and maintain template documentation, playbooks, negotiation guidelines, and know-how for scalable contract support across the business
• Partner closely with global business stakeholders to deliver timely, pragmatic legal support aligned to business objectives
• Collaborate with LegalOps to design and improve policies, procedures, and contract workflows that scale with the company's operating model
• Deliver training on contract review and management, and contribute to knowledge sharing across the Legal team and business partners
• Support commercial legal workstreams that advance strategic business plans, including new market initiatives, institutional and partnership deals, and other priorities as directed

Qualifications
