Head of Legal

About the role

The Head of Legal will define and lead the company's legal and privacy strategy to support business ambitions while managing regulatory obligations and risk. This role involves acting as the Data Protection Officer and leading the legal function to provide pragmatic advice across the organization. The position requires a strategic partner who can balance business velocity with legal compliance in a highly regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a legal roadmap aligned with international business strategy.
• Provide pragmatic, business-oriented legal advice to the Executive Committee and cross-functional teams.
• Oversee the drafting, review, and negotiation of commercial agreements and establish contracting standards.
• Manage corporate governance, legal entities, and strategic transactions.
• Define and oversee the data protection framework in accordance with GDPR and other privacy laws.
• Lead, coach, and develop the legal team while managing external counsel and the legal budget.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in law or equivalent legal qualification
