About the role

As a Senior Project Manager, you will oversee large client accounts involving multiple parallel IT and software development projects. You will be responsible for managing schedules, budgets, resources, quality, and risks while providing professional leadership to project managers and teams. Acting as a central interface between clients and delivery management, you will ensure the successful execution of complex accounts.

Responsibilities

• Manage large client accounts with multiple parallel IT and software development projects, maintaining oversight of schedules, budgets, quality, and risks.
• Support and develop project teams and their professional growth within ongoing projects.
• Implement effective risk management to identify, assess, and address dependencies and escalations early.
• Create transparency through metrics, forecasts, status reports, and decision-making foundations.
• Manage client communication at the management level and moderate steering committees and critical meetings.
• Coordinate resources and competencies across projects and set clear priorities.
• Intervene in at-risk projects to stabilize them before returning operational responsibility to the project manager.
• Oversee the transition of new projects from sales to delivery, refining scope, expectations, and calculations.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in managing complex IT projects, programs, or large client accounts
• Experience in professional leadership and development of project managers and interdisciplinary teams
• Solid understanding of software development projects and modern development processes
• Very good German language skills (min. C1-level)
