About the role
Airwallex is seeking a Senior Account Executive to join our new Enterprise Payments team in a greenfield role. You will be responsible for winning and expanding large enterprise customers by defining sales playbooks and executing go-to-market strategies for our payment acceptance solutions. This role requires a strategic hunter who can manage complex, long-cycle sales processes and build relationships with senior stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Own end-to-end enterprise sales cycles from prospecting through to contract signature
- Build and manage a high-quality pipeline of enterprise prospects through outbound prospecting and partner referrals
- Conduct white space analysis and account planning to prioritise high-potential opportunities
- Engage and build trust with senior stakeholders including CFOs, CPOs, and Heads of Finance
- Deliver executive-level presentations and business cases connecting platform capabilities to customer outcomes
- Collaborate with Solutions Engineering and Product teams to run proof-of-concepts and influence roadmap priorities
- Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting in Salesforce

Qualifications
- 10+ years of total experience, including 3+ years in enterprise sales at a payments or fintech company
- Proven track record of consistently exceeding quota on complex enterprise deals
- Demonstrated ability to manage full commercial cycles
- Fluent in English and native-level proficiency in German
