Senior Backend Developer (Go)

About the role

Jobtome is seeking a Senior Backend Developer to take ownership of critical backend systems and services. You will design, build, and evolve backend services that power complex hiring and recruitment workflows while contributing to architectural decisions and system reliability. This is a hands-on role requiring daily production-level Go development within a pragmatic engineering culture.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain backend services written in Go
• Build and evolve APIs using GraphQL and/or REST
• Design scalable, reliable, and maintainable backend architectures
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including frontend, product, and data engineers
• Contribute to data modeling, business logic, and performance optimization
• Review code and participate in architectural and technical discussions
• Improve code quality, testing, observability, and system resilience
• Manage backend features end-to-end from design to production
