Software Engineer II (Full-Stack)

About the role

Deliveroo is seeking a Software Engineer II to join the MX Intelligence team in London. You will work across the full stack to build and maintain tools for merchant discovery, onboarding, and sales operations as the company transitions to a unified platform. This role involves contributing to architecture, leading technical projects, and collaborating across teams to solve complex marketplace challenges.

Responsibilities

• Improve code structure and influence system architecture.
• Review code produced by the team to ensure quality and maintainability.
• Simplify the maintenance and operation of production systems.
• Own larger pieces of work and assist with design and implementation choices.
• Build relationships with other engineering teams and identify collaboration opportunities.
• Participate in the hiring process and conduct engineering interviews.
• Support the personal growth and efficiency of colleagues.
