Senior Infrastructure Engineer

About the role

The Senior Infrastructure Engineer will drive the architecture, design, and implementation of a next-generation AI-native cloud platform. This role involves building scalable, resilient infrastructure and self-service tooling to support high-performance computing and AI/ML workloads. The engineer will combine hands-on technical work with clear communication to enable reliable operations at scale.

Responsibilities

• Implement and operate virtualisation solutions optimised for AI-native workloads and HPC environments.
• Deliver provisioning, orchestration and lifecycle management of bare-metal hardware.
• Implement high-performance, cloud-native storage and networking for demanding workloads.
• Deploy and manage Kubernetes clusters across hybrid and multi-cloud environments.
• Build and maintain observability pipelines and automation frameworks to reduce operational toil.
• Analyse emerging technologies and produce low-level designs and implementation plans for platform components.
• Mentor less experienced engineers through pairing, code review and design feedback.
