Senior Backend Engineer

About the role

Predium is building an AI-powered real estate intelligence platform to automate ESG and value management for asset managers and banks. As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will own the core systems, including the GraphQL API, relational data models, and complex background processing workflows. You will partner with product and design teams to build scalable, reliable features that directly impact the company's mission to improve the carbon footprint of real estate.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain features across the Hasura GraphQL API, NestJS, and PostgreSQL stack.
• Design and manage complex relational schemas for real estate and ESG domains.
• Oversee background processing, including document extraction, imports, and long-running analysis jobs.
• Develop and refine the multi-tenant permission model for diverse customer needs.
• Integrate LLMs into backend workflows to ensure reliable, testable data extraction.
• Debug production issues using observability tools and simplify complex codebases.
