Director, HR Technology & Solutions Delivery

About the role

The Director, HR Technology & Solutions Delivery is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategy, design, delivery, and operation of Inizio's global HR technology ecosystem. The role involves significant accountability for Workday, leading IT operations, functional design, and strategic projects while evolving the function toward a platform engineering and architecture-led model. The successful candidate will bridge the gap between functional HR requirements and technical engineering, reporting to the Deputy Chief Information Officer.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-to-end IT ownership of Workday, covering functional design, configuration, operations, support, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with HR People Services and Centres of Excellence to translate business requirements into scalable, sustainable Workday solutions.
• Lead the Workday IT Operations team, ensuring effective management of incidents, requests, defects, and releases.
• Define the technology strategy, target architecture, and multi-year roadmap for the global HR technology ecosystem.
• Establish architecture and engineering principles across platforms, integrations, APIs, data, and security.
• Manage strategic relationships with Workday, technology vendors, and systems integrators to ensure delivery quality and commercial outcomes.
• Build and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary HR Technology team.

Qualifications

• Senior Manager, Director or equivalent experience within a global organisation
• Experience within consulting, technology, pharmaceutical, life sciences or another complex multinational environment
