Senior Accountant

About the role

The Senior Accountant will take end-to-end ownership of accounting for the German entity, CoachHub GmbH. This role involves managing monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities, ensuring tax compliance, and collaborating with cross-functional teams including AP/AR, FP&A, and HR. The ideal candidate will bring structure to an evolving environment and proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.

Responsibilities

• Manage monthly, quarterly and annual closing activities including accruals, provisions, fixed assets, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Prepare monthly and annual financial statements under HGB and support annual audits.
• Handle VAT declarations, recurring tax filings, and act as the primary contact for external tax advisers.
• Approve supplier invoices and review payroll journals from external providers.
• Manage intercompany reconciliations and support group financial statement preparation.
• Identify and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within the accounting function.
