Global Payroll Specialist

About the role

The Global Payroll Specialist will help build and scale payroll operations as Legora expands internationally. You will coordinate with external payroll providers, ensure accurate and timely payroll delivery, and develop processes and controls to support global growth. This role involves working closely with the Global Payroll Manager to maintain compliance and improve workflows across multiple markets.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate monthly payroll cycles across multiple countries
• Act as a key contact for external payroll providers
• Make sure payroll is delivered accurately and on time
• Carry out validations, reconciliations, and checks before payroll is finalized
• Help ensure payroll follows local regulations and internal processes
• Support audits by keeping documentation clear and up to date
• Help build and improve payroll processes as we grow into new countries
• Create clear workflows and documentation so our ways of working can scale
• Work with payroll data from HiBob and ensure inputs are accurate and complete
• Partner closely with HR, Finance, and external vendors
• Step in as backup to the Global Payroll Manager when needed
