About the role

The Applied AI Architect for Education serves as the senior technical owner for a portfolio of education customers, acting as a technical counterpart to institutional leadership. This role involves shaping AI strategy, guiding institutions from discovery through deployment, and ensuring measurable impact across academic, research, and administrative contexts. The architect translates institutional priorities into actionable adoption roadmaps while managing technical milestones and cross-functional delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor and long-term relationship owner for a named portfolio of education customers.
• Partner with Account Directors to develop technical account plans, adoption priorities, and value-realization paths.
• Lead discovery sessions with institutional executives, faculty, and technical teams to identify and prioritize AI use cases.
• Translate institutional objectives into architectures spanning models, data, security, privacy, and governance.
• Guide institutions through technical evaluations, workshops, and proofs of value to build confidence in production deployment.
• Coordinate support from internal teams including Deployment Engineering, Product, and Research to ensure successful implementation.
• Track adoption, usage, and account health to intervene early when risks threaten value realization.
