Product Engineer - Steel

About the role

The Product Development Engineer will support the development, improvement, and technical ownership of the product portfolio. This role involves working with cross-functional teams including customers, suppliers, and operations to deliver innovative solutions and enhance product performance.

Responsibilities

• Own technical specifications and product performance.
• Drive new product development projects through stage-gate processes.
• Identify product improvements based on customer feedback and market trends.
• Evaluate and validate new materials, technologies, and manufacturing processes.
• Conduct customer trials and provide technical support during product testing.
• Maintain technical documentation, specifications, and product databases.
• Support patent activities and strategic technical initiatives.
• Develop training materials and deliver technical training for Sales and Service teams.
