Legal Counsel - IT & Data Protection

About the role

AMBOSS is seeking a Legal Counsel to support the business in IT and data protection matters. The role involves advising teams on data protection compliance, supporting product development, and managing data subject rights in an international context.

Responsibilities

• Advise teams on data protection questions and their implementation.
• Analyze and assess data protection compliance risks at system and process level.
• Analyze relevant data protection requirements from the international context and integrate them into the existing setup.
• Support product development in close collaboration with tech and product teams.
• Review and assess data protection agreements as well as tools and software for data protection compliance.
• Create and update internal data protection policies and procedures.
• Handle and coordinate data subject rights requests.

Qualifications

• Fully qualified lawyer (Volljurist) in Germany
