About the role

Apaleo is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead, grow, and inspire engineering teams as they develop their AI-first property management platform for the hospitality industry. The role involves driving people leadership, technical strategy, and operational health while maintaining high-quality delivery standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to shape the future of hospitality technology in a fast-growing scale-up environment.

Responsibilities

• Build, mentor, and retain a healthy, high-performing engineering team.
• Own predictable, high-quality delivery while maintaining a sustainable pace.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, Tech Leads, and Staff+ engineers on roadmap and long-term technical strategy.
• Ensure strong engineering standards, operational readiness, and a blameless incident culture.
• Develop and refine an AI-driven development pipeline.
• Improve engineering KPIs such as DORA metrics.
• Lead hiring, onboarding, team composition, and long-term talent development.
