Co-Founder & CTO

About the role

As a technical co-founder and CTO, you will partner with the founder to build an AI model efficiency engine from the ground up. You will lead the engineering team, define the technical architecture, and develop a platform that optimizes AI model usage through routing, fine-tuning, and cost-efficient serving. This role requires a hands-on leader who can balance high-level strategic decisions with active coding and team building.

Responsibilities

• Lead the engineering team, including hiring, mentoring, and establishing operational standards.
• Set the technical direction, including architectural decisions and roadmap development.
• Develop the efficiency engine by integrating routing, caching, fine-tuning, and quantization techniques.
• Manage open-weight model serving and infrastructure, including GPU capacity and European hosting.
• Build rigorous evaluation harnesses to ensure quality standards are met.
• Develop the platform infrastructure, including gateway APIs, identity management, and secure storage.
• Maintain a hands-on role in coding and designing agentic workflows.
