Business Operations Manager

About the role

SpAItial is building physically-grounded world models to redefine how industries interact with 3D environments. The Business Operations Manager will own recurring business operations, including finance cycles, payroll, vendor management, and office operations. This role works directly with the COO to establish efficient processes and maintain the company's operational backbone.

Responsibilities

• Manage the finance cycle including reconciliations, management accounts, expenses, and invoicing while tracking cash, burn, and runway.
• Oversee people operations such as payroll, onboarding, contracts, benefits, and employee documentation.
• Coordinate with external providers for payroll, pension, healthcare, banking, insurance, and legal compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and renewals, including compute and infrastructure commitments.
• Oversee the London office environment, including space management, equipment, and team events.
• Document and automate manual workflows to create scalable operational processes.
• Prepare inputs for board materials, investor updates, and reporting packs.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in operations, business operations, finance operations, or a similar role
• Experience in a startup or fast-moving technology company
