Principal Security Field Engineer

About the role

The Security Field Engineering team empowers customers to understand the security of the Databricks platform and assists account teams with security reviews. You will act as a security expert, creating scalable content such as white papers and documentation, while automating processes to support field staff and customers. This role involves high autonomy and the opportunity to influence product messaging and technical strategy.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers to answer security-related questions and address concerns.
• Create customer-facing content including slide decks, white papers, and technical documentation.
• Develop internal-facing services and automation to improve field staff efficiency.
• Train other team members on security principles and platform architectures.
• Collaborate with product management and marketing to improve product messaging and address customer pain points.
