About the role

NexGen Cloud is seeking a Data Analyst to join their Strategic Finance team to help the business transition to a data-driven operational model. The role involves consolidating revenue, occupancy, and billing data from various sources to provide leadership with accurate, actionable insights. You will be responsible for building data pipelines, automating reporting, and ensuring the integrity of financial and operational metrics.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain data pipelines to integrate business data into Databricks and Power BI.
  • Own daily revenue and occupancy reporting for leadership.
  • Reconcile billing data against actual customer usage, including power draw and asset registers.
  • Support commission calculations and provide visibility into sales pipeline health.
  • Model pricing options and deal economics to support investment decisions.
  • Validate all figures for accuracy before distribution.
  • Assist the wider team in utilizing BI tools and data effectively.
