Lead ML Engineer

About the role

Cofinity-X is seeking a Lead ML Engineer to guide our Machine Learning team and drive the development of sovereign AI in Europe. You will architect AI model training, set the technical roadmap, and lead a team of engineers while collaborating with product and dataspace technology experts. This role requires a balance of technical leadership, stakeholder management, and a commitment to open-source innovation.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Machine Learning team and contribute to the development of sovereign AI in Europe
• Architect the training and fine-tuning of AI models using sovereign dataspace technology
• Set the technical direction for the ML roadmap and integrate AI innovation into dataspace technology
• Support Product Management in evaluating and defining AI/ML architectures
• Recruit, lead, mentor, and inspire a team of ML engineers
• Partner with HR to scale the team through sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
• Collaborate with dataspace technology experts and product teams
• Contribute to open-source projects
