About the role
Metaki is developing a Large Engineering Model using graph-neural-network surrogates to predict the response of complex 3D parts, aiming to replace traditional finite element analysis. The company is seeking a technical co-founder to lead the scaling of their modeling and engineering infrastructure while supporting fundraising and industrial pilot partnerships. This role involves taking ownership of the neural-network surrogate pipeline and transitioning research-stage models into production-ready solutions.
Responsibilities
- Co-own the neural-network surrogate modeling pipeline including data processing, GNN training, and inference.
- Scale the large 3D simulation dataset and physics-informed training infrastructure.
- Provide technical leadership on architecture, ML engineering, and data pipeline decisions.
- Transform early industry discussions into validated industrial pilots by ensuring model production-readiness.
- Support funding applications and strategic introductions with a technical narrative and roadmap.
