Team Lead Education

About the role

The Team Lead, Education Sales will lead the education sales team and own the end-to-end go-to-market strategy for both university and student markets. This role is responsible for driving new customer acquisition, growing annual recurring revenue, and reducing churn through a combination of relationship-led sales and digital-first purchase journeys. The position requires a hands-on leader who can coach a team while remaining personally active in high-priority deals.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Education sales team, setting clear performance expectations and coaching through live deals.
• Own and scale a proactive, discovery-led outbound motion to win new institution and student customers.
• Drive expansion and retention within the existing customer base to grow ARR and reduce churn.
• Manage ARR and pipeline growth for the University segment through direct, relationship-led sales.
• Partner with the Ecommerce team to optimize the digital-first student purchase journey, including funnel and conversion rates.
• Provide accurate pipeline forecasting and performance reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of sales experience within a SaaS or technology environment
