Claims Handler

About the role

Insify is looking for a Claims Handler to manage business insurance and disability claims while actively contributing to the development of future claims processes. You will work within a small team, utilizing your own mandate to handle files, communicate directly with insurers, and leverage technology and AI to optimize workflows. This role offers the opportunity to shape the claims department by identifying automation needs and improving fraud detection strategies.

Responsibilities

• Intake, processing, and settlement of business claims including liability, inventory, and goods
• Conducting intakes for disability claims and handling objections
• Liaising with experts, lawyers, and other insurers
• Communicating directly with insurers and reinsurers
• Advising and supporting customers through the claims process
• Providing feedback to internal teams to improve products and acceptance processes
• Contributing to the automation of repetitive tasks and the implementation of AI and fraud detection tools
