About the role

The Commercial Planning team at SumUp is looking for a partner to shape financial strategy and drive growth. You will support Sales leadership by owning revenue and customer acquisition budget planning, building complex financial models, and providing actionable insights. This role involves translating data into clear narratives to influence commercial decision-making and supporting the migration to scalable forecasting tools.

Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end revenue and customer acquisition budget planning for acquisition channels.
  • Act as a primary finance business partner to Sales and commercial leaders to embed financial models into decision-making.
  • Conduct deep-dive analyses at country, merchant category, and channel level to surface revenue risks and opportunities.
  • Build business cases and product-level revenue forecasts to support growth initiatives.
  • Contribute to the migration of commercial planning from spreadsheets to scalable forecasting tools.
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to an intern or analyst to support their professional development.
