About the role

CFGI is seeking an experienced Director to lead their expanding Transaction Advisory Services practice in the UK. The role involves overseeing complex buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence engagements for private equity firms and corporate clients. The Director will serve as a senior advisor, manage engagement teams, and contribute to business development and practice growth.

Responsibilities

  • Lead complex buy-side and sell-side transaction advisory engagements.
  • Analyse target company financial information including quality of earnings, working capital, and debt.
  • Advise clients on financial matters impacting transaction valuation and deal structure.
  • Serve as a senior point of contact for private equity sponsors and corporate stakeholders.
  • Manage and coordinate engagement teams, clients, and third-party providers.
  • Review and approve financial analyses, workpapers, and executive-level reports.
  • Oversee engagement planning, staffing, project economics, and risk management.
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop staff while contributing to business development initiatives.
