Customer Director Consulting - Insurance & Pensions

About the role

The Customer Director Consulting Insurance & Pensions acts as a strategic partner at the C-level, bridging boardroom strategy with mission-critical IT solutions. You will help insurers and pension providers navigate complex challenges such as DORA compliance, AI adoption, and legacy modernization to drive efficiency, resilience, and revenue. This role combines deep sector-specific knowledge with technical expertise to build sustainable, high-impact client engagements.

Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth discussions with C-level and senior management to identify strategic priorities and pain points.
• Analyze the business and technical context of client organizations, including legacy systems, governance, and risk.
• Translate boardroom strategies into concrete business cases and value scenarios.
• Bridge the gap between high-level strategy and mission-critical technology solutions in collaboration with technical teams.
• Initiate and lead early-stage engagements such as assessments, design sprints, and proof of value projects.
• Position the company's full suite of cloud, software, data, AI, and security services to meet client business objectives.
• Act as a trusted advisor in complex decision-making processes to ensure stakeholder alignment.

Qualifications

• Over 10 years of experience as an IT Business/Management Consultant or strategic advisor in the insurance or pension sector
• Strong network within the Dutch insurance or pension industry
