Senior AI Product Engineer

About the role

The Senior AI Product Engineer will identify and build AI opportunities from start to finish, serving as a key technical partner for product squads. This role involves both independent development of AI projects and providing strategic support to teams regarding feasibility, model selection, and AI best practices. The position requires a focus on shipping production-ready systems and maintaining high standards for evaluation and compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify high-impact AI opportunities within legal workflows and develop them into production-ready solutions.
• Build and deploy AI features including routing, chaining, summarization, and agent-based loops.
• Hand off mature features to product squads with full documentation and evaluation plans.
• Advise teams on feasibility, costs, model selection, and risks before feature launches.
• Design evaluations, golden datasets, and guardrails to ensure system reliability and compliance.
• Review product concepts for prompt injection and compliance risks including GDPR and legal standards.
