Engineer - Data & Platforms

About the role

As an Engineer - Data & Platforms, you will build and maintain the internal data products, pipelines, and tools that support the firm's investment, Quantitative Research, and AI Engineering teams. This hands-on role involves designing and shipping reliable data solutions while collaborating directly with stakeholders to turn financial and alternative data into actionable insights. You will also champion engineering best practices and integrate agentic AI into the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve internal data pipelines, datasets, APIs, and tooling on the lakehouse and orchestration stack.
• Work directly with internal teams to triage requests, prioritize tasks, and explain technical trade-offs.
• Design, build, and operate reliable ETLs and integrations for complex financial datasets.
• Reinforce engineering habits including automated testing, CI/CD, code reviews, and documentation.
• Contribute to operational excellence through observability, monitoring, and data quality management.
• Utilize agentic AI across engineering workflows to enhance coding, testing, and debugging processes.
