Senior Software Engineer

About the role

Perk is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to take ownership of the entire feature lifecycle, from understanding customer pain points to deployment and impact measurement. You will work within a cross-functional squad to build scalable systems while prioritizing autonomy and pragmatism. The role involves shaping technical strategy, mentoring team members, and leveraging AI-augmented workflows to drive engineering excellence.

Responsibilities

• Shape the product vision by contributing to quarterly goals and long-term strategy alongside product and engineering managers.
• Architect scalable and evolvable systems while managing technical debt and ensuring long-term maintainability.
• Lead cross-squad initiatives and communicate complex technical ideas to align stakeholders across the organization.
• Mentor less experienced colleagues through direct feedback, design reviews, and pairing sessions to raise technical standards.
• Define and uphold engineering excellence, including CI/CD optimizations, testing strategies, and operational security practices.
