SEO Manager, EU/UK

About the role

The SEO Manager for the UK and EU will own the organic strategy for European markets across both traditional search and generative engines. This role involves translating global technical foundations into a localized European strategy, driving organic growth, and collaborating cross-functionally with engineering, merchandising, and growth marketing teams.

Responsibilities

• Own the UK/EU SEO & AEO strategy and maintain a market-level roadmap.
• Partner with the global SEO team to apply technical standards and flag regional requirements.
• Drive answer engine optimisation across platforms like AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity.
• Collaborate with copywriting and localisation teams to ensure content targets genuine local search demand.
• Manage international search architecture including hreflang, market targeting, and canonical logic.
• Influence storefront taxonomy, navigation, and site merchandising to support organic discovery.
• Define and execute SEO/AEO readiness checklists for new market launches.
