Senior IT Architect

About the role

The Senior IT Architect will support the development and implementation of a central software repository within a cloud environment. The role involves designing architectures for both open-source cloud stacks and broader software platforms, including the development of proof-of-concepts and performance testing strategies.

Responsibilities

• Analyse functional and non-functional requirements.
• Identify technical constraints and interfaces.
• Design system components, interfaces, and data flows.
• Define integration strategies such as API gateways and service meshes.
• Create plans for containerization and evaluate suitability for cloud migration.
• Conduct architecture reviews and provide DevOps support.
• Ensure performance, scalability, availability, and security through security-by-design principles.
