Process Development Engineer – Semiconductor Packaging

About the role

As a Process Technology Engineer, you will develop new process technologies for advanced packaging manufacturing within our R&D department. You will accompany development projects, collaborate with internal stakeholders, and ensure the implementation of innovative, stable, and efficient manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Develop new technology processes in semiconductor packaging, specifically for wafer, substrate, and panel processing.
• Select suppliers for new process equipment and manage projects including reporting.
• Define process limits and design rules within ADKs and support new product and process projects.
• Collaborate with Process/Industrial Engineering, Quality Management, and Procurement to implement tailored solutions.
• Ensure quality standards, project goals, and stable manufacturing processes.
• Conduct and evaluate analyses and create reports on new manufacturing processes, such as EMPB.

Qualifications

• Degree in Microsystems Technology, Semiconductor Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or equivalent
• Industrial experience in the development of packaging processes
• Knowledge of assembly and connection technologies
• Experience with process-oriented challenges in series production
