About the role
The Data Protection Manager will own data protection end-to-end, managing customer inquiries and maintaining the company's GDPR foundation. This role involves shaping how the organization handles sensitive data, reviewing vendor contracts, and acting as the primary interface for the external Data Protection Officer.
Responsibilities
- Manage incoming data protection inquiries from customers and their data protection officers.
- Maintain internal GDPR documentation including retention periods, records of processing activities, and technical measures.
- Monitor customer data flows through the product in collaboration with tech leads.
- Review vendor contracts and data processing agreements while supporting negotiations.
- Manage data protection documentation in the trust center and coordinate with the external DPO.
