Mechatronics and Hardware Test Engineer

About the role

The Mechatronics and Hardware Test Engineer will design and build test setups and fixtures to qualify robot prototypes for development. This role involves closing the loop between test results and design fixes while collaborating with engineering and production teams.

Responsibilities

• Design and build the mechatronic test setups and fixtures used to validate robot prototypes and subassemblies through development, certification, and production.
• Run tests, evaluate and analyze the results, and share findings with the wider engineering team.
• Create and maintain documentation for test procedures and results.
• Identify and implement improvements to existing test procedures to increase efficiency and reliability.
• Investigate product-related quality issues to determine their root cause.
• Support the production team in troubleshooting and resolving test-related issues.
