Senior Software Engineer - Core Marketing Platforms

About the role

The Senior Software Engineer will join the Core Marketing Platforms team to build and optimize high-performance microservices for FanDuel's marketing ecosystem. This role focuses on designing scalable, event-driven systems that process large volumes of real-time data to enable personalized customer experiences and targeted campaigns.

Responsibilities

• Take the long-term view and consider system scalability requirements for the future.
• Simplify existing systems by consolidating redundant components, removing unnecessary code, and updating documentation.
• Coach and develop the technical skills of other software engineers.
• Lead projects with a holistic view of the strategic direction of the vertical.
• Define future architecture while balancing operational improvements for existing systems.
• Solve complex problems and participate in team design, scoping, and prioritization discussions.
• Write secure, stable, testable, and maintainable code while delivering projects on schedule.
