Head of Commercial Analytics

About the role

The Head of Commercial Analytics will lead the UK data commercial team and coordinate global data cooperation to guide commercial decisions. This role acts as a strategic business partner to Commercial, Sales, Marketing, and Energy Markets teams, combining hands-on technical expertise with team leadership. The successful candidate will drive strategy through actionable insights and oversee pricing operations and performance metrics.

Responsibilities

• Lead, set priorities, coordinate and review the work of a high-performance team of commercial and marketing data analysts.
• Use data to guide understanding of customers and competitors to impact UK and global strategy.
• Enable rapid reaction to the energy industry through smooth price changes and regulatory compliance.
• Define KPIs and build intuitive dashboards to help the business understand operational drivers.
• Prioritise and coordinate data teams supporting global operations, balancing local needs with global opportunities.
