About the role
Mozilla is seeking a detail-driven Senior Financial Analyst to support the Core Services portfolio. This role is responsible for recurring planning, reporting, and analysis, including forecast preparation, budget updates, and headcount tracking. The analyst will partner with functional leaders and the COO to translate financial variances into actionable insights.
Responsibilities
- Prepare the Core Services forecast each cycle and build cost center detail in Pigment.
- Assemble monthly budget updates, including variance analysis and driver identification.
- Partner with Accounting through the monthly close process to resolve coding and timing issues.
- Maintain headcount tracking and coordinate with People and hiring managers.
- Monitor vendor and cloud spend, including POs, renewals, and run-rate changes.
- Identify and implement opportunities to automate recurring forecast and reporting tasks.
