Senior Machine Learning Engineer - Growth & Personalisation

About the role

The Senior Machine Learning Engineer will join the New Verticals team to drive growth in non-restaurant ordering, such as groceries and retail. This role focuses on building and improving ranking and personalisation models to enhance user engagement across the homepage, landing pages, and notification systems. You will collaborate with global teams to solve complex technical challenges within a three-sided marketplace.

Responsibilities

• Build and improve ranking models for vertical landing pages to optimise user visibility.
• Design models that integrate new-vertical content into the existing restaurant-focused homepage.
• Develop personalisation models that translate user behaviour into relevant recommendations for new verticals.
• Contribute to notification targeting strategies to drive adoption and user retention.
