About the role
The Audiobooks team at Spotify is focused on shaping the future of audio storytelling by expanding the platform's catalog and building relationships within the independent publishing community. As an Associate Manager, you will identify and negotiate commercial partnerships with authors, publishers, and distributors to drive growth. You will collaborate across cross-functional teams to optimize catalog performance and support the success of creators on the platform.
Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate audiobook catalogs from independent authors, hybrid publishers, and distribution partners.
- Negotiate audiobook licensing agreements and commercial partnerships to create long-term value.
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with a diverse portfolio of independent publishers and authors.
- Develop creative partnership structures to support sustainable growth for creators and the business.
- Utilize market insights and performance analytics to inform acquisition strategies.
- Partner with creators to optimize catalog performance and resolve operational challenges.
- Collaborate with internal teams including Product, Editorial, Growth, and Finance to improve partner experience.
- Advocate for the needs of independent creators to help shape future product capabilities.
